Sweetie I haven’t had Shrimp Cocktail in almost forever. When we would order in a restaurant, there were 4-6 shrimp on ice, a dash of cocktail sauce a squeeze of lemon and that was it…..all for $10 or so (no, we don’t live near Vegas!). They always left us wanting MOAR!! I decided to try this, even though it said it would feed 6. Got the shrimp boiled up in some nice Zatarains crab boil with some Old Bay and got them cooled off and iced. Then I went to work fixing the Asian Stir Fry posted here. When the ASF was done, I plated the shrimp cocktail in 2 small bowls, fixed a smaller bowl of red cocktail sauce and another of tarter sauce. We had the Shrimp Cocktail first. About the time we left half for tomorrow, our 17 yo DS (the Locust) and his GF came thru. No more Shrimp Cocktail! At least we know it’s good for 4 people! LOL Followed it up with the ASF for a feast. AIEEEEEE!
Absolutely delicious, enough to satisfy a hungry appetite for 2 or 3 and pretty darn easy to fix. A definite 5 here! Err, that’s on a scale of 1-5. đŸ™‚
