These were great! They provided me with the treat experience without the sugar or almond flour. Thanks!

Is it really supposed to be 1 tsp of salt? It seems (and tastes) like a lot to me for a desserty treat, and I love salt.

I made some with 1/2 tsp of salt and it was way too much. I doubled the recipe was with 1/4 tsp and it was too much still. I’m going to try to dilute it to 1/8 tsp of salt by tripling it and not adding any more salt.

I’m going to guess this should be 1 pinch of salt and not 1 tsp.

UPDATE: the 1/4 tsp of salt idea didn’t work so there is 3/4c of coconut butter down the drain.

I did one more batch with 1 pinch of salt, 1/2 tsp of cinnamon and vanilla and it’s much better. The 1 tsp of cinnamon and vanilla might have been okay but I was tired of inedible batches. 🙂

I agree with lovelt. This is not a dessert treat as posted. My last batch is more like a 21DSD treat.

Would love to hear if anyone else experiments and gets a great combination. 🙂

Quick. Easy. Yummy. I’m currently doing the 21-Day Sugar Detox, and these little guys were a nice treat. They are slightly salty, but in a good way. I might try halving the salt next time, just to see, but I like them as they are, too. I rolled them in unsweetened shredded coconut as well. Thanks, Bill and Hayley!
