  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  2. Mix the dry ingredients in a large bowl
  3. Add the eggs, syrup, melted coconut oil, milk, orange zest, orange juice, and vanilla and combine well
  4. Stir in the apples
  5. Pour into a greased 8x8 baking dish
  6. Combine all the almond flour, coconut oil, and coconut sugar until a crumbly mixture is formed
  7. Sprinkle over the cake
  8. Bake for 35-45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean

    I made this today and it was really delicious. The recipe seems to have left out how many apples to use, so I peeled, cored, and diced 2 small apples and it seemed to be the perfect amount. It turned out moist, and the topping added the perfect amount of sweetness. I would definitely make this again!
