Very yummy. I made this today to have with almond meal pancakes and it was very satisfying. Today is my 7th day of the new Paleo lifestyle and I’m surprised I haven’t craved sugar all week, but I decided to have something sweet on the pancakes, and this was perfect. So easy to make, I put it together while the pancakes were cooking. I only used a small amount on each pancake, and have pancakes left over, so I’m going to sandwich the remaining pancakes together with the remainder of the date spread and freeze them for those mornings when I sleep in and don’t have time to cook breakfast, and I want a change from the usual breakfast on the run, the egg muffins. Delicious, thanks.
I do not have a microwave. How do I do this in boiling water over the stove and how long?
I do not believe in having a microwave – so what I’ve done is cut up the dates in small pieces and put them into a pot with 3 tblsp of water and heat it up gently until the dates are “mushed” – works just fine. Would be nice if Primal Palate gave an alternative recipe to this one with the microwave, though!
Sounds like a great idea!
