Cinnamon Spice Bars
These Cinnamon Spice Bars have a rich deep flavor with a light and fluffy frosting - they are the perfect fall treat!
Ingredients
- 1 cup 1 cup 1 cup Cashews, raw, soaked for 1 hour
- 3 Tbsp 3 Tbsp 3 Tbsp Molasses, blackstrap
- 1 Tbsp 1 Tbsp 1 Tbsp Maple Syrup, Pure
- 1 whole 1 whole 1 whole Egg
- 0.25 cup 0.25 cup 0.25 cup Coconut Flour
- 0.5 tsp 0.5 tsp 0.5 tsp Baking Soda
- 0.5 tsp 0.5 tsp 0.5 tsp Cinnamon, ground
- 0.5 tsp 0.5 tsp 0.5 tsp Primal Palate Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 tsp 1 tsp 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 0.333 cup 0.333 cup 0.333 cup Coconut Cream
- 1.5 Tbsp 1.5 Tbsp 1.5 Tbsp Goat Cheese
Process
Note, these instructions are written assuming the standard serving size, since you have modified the number of servings, these steps may need to be modified for best results
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Blend together cashews (drain water from cashews before blending), molasses, maple syrup (1/3 cup), and egg until smooth
- Pour into large mixing bowl and add coconut flour, baking soda, cinnamon, pumpkin pie spice, and vanilla and mix well
- Pour into greased 8x8 baking dish
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean
- For the Frosting: Mix all remaining ingredients together
- Frost bars once they have cooled
