Hey Everyone!
We wanted to take a short detour from our regularly scheduled blog posts to stop and say Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy Holidays to you all. The last few weeks have been wonderfully busy here in our house. If you follow us on Facebook, you’ve seen regular updates from both us and Diane Sanfilippo about our combined cooking adventures right here in our home. Back in October, Diane made the trek out to Pittsburgh (from the NYC area) to join us for our book release party. During the course of her stay, we put out an offer to her to come back in December for several weeks to work on the recipe portion of our book. We have a nice little guest room, and a big kitchen (and two hungry mouths) – so “why not”, we thought. Diane has been here for just shy of 2 weeks, and we’ve taken about 4000 photos of about 75 recipes for her upcoming book (details on her book are yet to be released). So anyway, that is why our blog posts have slowed ever so slightly in the last few weeks. We are exhausted from the insane pace we’ve all kept, so we’re going to take a much needed break from heavy posting for a day or two – and hey, it’s the holidays, you should do the same.
To give you something festive to munch on for the next few days, we thought we’d put up a collection of holiday-appropriate cookies for you to make and share with your families! Hope you enjoy, and have safe and happy celebrations with your families and friends. And definitely enjoy these cookies now, because come January 1st, its back to eating strict paleo! đŸ˜‰
Cheers,
Bill & Hayley
