The Best Paleo Recipes of 2014 eBook

bop-promo-3
Today, we are so excited to announce a project we have been working on for a very long time: The Best Paleo Recipes of 2014 eBook. The concept for this groundbreaking collaboration was borne out of the desire to put together community-created collection of recipes from some of the most respected recipe creators in Paleo.
It has been awesome (in the truest sense of the word) seeing this project come together, and especially getting to see the best new recipes of the community all in one place. We’re SO EXCITED to show you the 150 incredible recipes in this collection.

150 Recipes from 25 of the top Paleo Recipe Creators

We asked contributors to share their BEST recipes of the year, including 25 exclusive, never before seen recipes from each of the contributors to create this nearly-400 page eBook

What about the recipes?

Inside, you’ll also find exclusive, never before seen recipes from each of the contributors! We thought this would be a great perk for all the cookbook and blog super fans out there that follow many of the contributors closely. So even if you are a Paleo super follower, there will still be 25 completely new recipes waiting for you in this book! As part of our contribution we have included our Stuffed Acorn Squash recipe. This is one of our favorite recipes from our new cookbook, Make it Paleo II, and we were eager to share it with you in The Best Paleo Recipes of 2014.

Where did the idea for this eBook come from?

A few months before embarking on this project, we hosted a few very good friends (and fellow bloggers) Sean and Suzanne at our home in Pittsburgh for a week of fun, sightseeing, and a lot of good food. The time together was extra special, because Sean had recently been recruited for a job in Vancouver (they live together in LA). Sean and Suzanne grew to become great friends of ours over the years, so we make an effort to get together a few times a year, despite living on opposite coasts. Over a few hard ciders one night during their visit, Sean asked “So, did you see the new recipe we posted on our site last week?”

I had not seen it. In fact, due to ongoing changes in the way social media sites favor paid advertising over original content, I had not seen many (if any) recipe posts from our colleagues and friends for quite some time. That, along with the growing number of sites I actually wanted to follow (each with its own great recipes), left me feeling pretty hopeless. The web is brimming with blogs, so if you want to follow your favorite people, you need to be prepared to wade through a lot of “other stuff” to get there.

For over a year, Hayley and I occasionally talked about creating a “best of” Paleo eBook to showcase the best work of some of our favorite Paleo cooks, authors and bloggers. Much of what we’ve worked towards on this website (PrimalPalate.com) has also been geared towards creating an online Paleo community resource.
