Before we left Boston, and hit the road for the long ride back to Pittsburgh, we stopped at Clark Farm to have brunch with some of our good friends. Diana and Andrew Rogers run Clark Farm in Carlisle, and since the weather was less than desirable for the farm dinner, we were not able to tour the farm as Diana had planned. We were really hoping to check out some animals and taste some of their amazing eggs, so Diana generously invited us back for brunch with her family, as well as Diane, Michelle, Henry, and the O’s.
Diana cooked us a wonderful brunch, while we all chatted around their kitchen table. After we had our fill of sausage, eggs, and their home grown veggies, we threw on our rubber boots, and trucked outside to see all the animals. Andrew fed us with so much knowledge as we toured the farm, and I again was reminded of how honorable it is to be a farmer.
We had a wonderful time at Clark Farm, and we can’t thank Andrew and Diana enough. We hope to go back soon to visit!
