Primal Palate

James is a professional front-end web developer with a passion for food and photography, in that order. When he's not dissecting design comps in Photoshop® or hand-crafting CSS for responsive web sites, you can find him sketching compositions on a notepad in his personal studio (i.e. living room), bouncing light on his subject with a white board in one hand and his camera in the other, or in the kitchen attempting to balance flavors, usually while creating a mess and setting off every smoke detector in a 12-foot radius. James lives in East Tennessee with his wife, Mary Lynn, a Registered Dietitian and independent health coach. They've been 80/20 Paleo since December 2012.
