Prosciutto-Wrapped Asparagus

This appetizer has gained popularity in recent years, and it’s obvious why. These clever little wraps have the salty and savory thing going on. They also have quite an appealing look to them, which makes them the perfect precursor to a fancy dinner party.

So easy to make and delicious! I accidentally ate 3/4 of this in one sitting. Oops. Oh, and as a recommendation, extra salt might not be needed depending on how salty the prosciutto is. Prosciutto di Parma tends to be very salty so I didn’t use it and it came out perfectly.

I made these as a side dish for a friend’s dinner party. They were yummy and looked great on the dinner plates. Since we were doing a side dish vs. an appetizer, I upped the asparagus to 8 per bundle and created 5 or 6 bundles to a pan. We popped them in the oven when we arrived at the host’s house and they were ready just in time for dinner. A great, tasty and EASY dish that you can serve as an appetizer or side dish – whatever suits your needs!
