  1. Turn crock pot on low.
  2. Place chopped turnip, parsnip, and onion on the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. Rinse steak under cold water and pat dry.
  4. Sprinkle steak generously with curry powder, salt, and pepper.
  5. Place steak over the chopped vegetables in the crock pot.
  6. Top steak with ginger, garlic cloves, and cinnamon sticks.
  7. Cook on low for 6 hours.
