The wing sauce in the recipe is great, but if you slather the wings in sauce before cooking them they will not crisp up no matter how long they stay in the oven. Try baking the wings for 45-60 minutes at 400 degrees and then coat them with the wing sauce and serve. I also wish that instructions on how to properly prepare whole wings was included here- it would be very useful to first time wing chefs to know the proper cuts to make before cooking.

Good advise ependleton, I always wait until the last 10 – 15 minutes before putting the sauce on. I love crispy wings.

I know this section is for a review but I don’t see a place for questions. This dish sounds great but what is the Buffalo sauce exactly?

Buffalo Sauce is hot sauce. You can find it at most grocery stores, just be sure to check the ingredients.
