I can't find a better way to exercise. Period!
Full body workout, climbing, descending, sprinting, mental focus, dirt in your teeth, sun on your skin, heart rate elevated then relaxed, lungs expanded then relieved, wind in your face…. and a smile the whole time!!!
You aren't under pressure to have the most stylish clothes (as in a gym); your hair done up right (wearing a helmet!); deodorant on (it attracts bugs!); makeup (ladies); etc….
Even on the slowest, easiest going days you are getting a full body workout. And it's easy on your joints comparatively speaking when you consider what jogging does your joints…
