Paleo-friendly restaurants
  •  The Caveman Truck is awesome. Yummy and very convenient! He caters to the Northside mostly, and is set up for service usually 4+ times a week. Follow him on Twitter or Facebook to get the locations and new menu items! -Stacymo

Other places to get food or groceries

  •  Moody Meats (NorthWest & Avon) – They have the weird stuff that you wouldn't normally get at a regular store.  They had a cow tongue this past weekend.  It is a very small mom and pop butcher shop.  From Eggs to beef to chicken to fish and rabbits.  Yep, they have rabbits.  You may have to call ahead and see if they have the weird stuff in their shop.  It is best to order ahead.  There is one on Michingan Road close to 116th street in NorthWest side Indianapolis.  They also have one in Avon on 267 and North of Rockville road. -Hollyin

I used to live there…just moved almost 3 months ago.  I know there is the Cave Truck though, I'm not sure what parts of Indy it caters to.

For Grocery:

Moody Meats have the weird stuff that you wouldn't normally get at a regular store.

It is not a paleo store but it is good enough.  They do sell milk from the local creamery.  They also sell bbq sauce but it is not paleo.  They do sell noodles (dry) which is not paleo.  These items are from another company not from Moodys.

** you don't have permission to see this link ** paleo food truck serves Hamilton and Marion counties.

Saraga International Market on Lafayette Rd has CRAZY produce and other items. Seriously if you have not been there it is an experience!

Apple Family Farm is in McCordsville. You can get pasture raised proteins (fresh eggs frozen meats) daylight hours 7 days a week.

Asia Mart is in Castleton. It's like a micro Saraga , with unusual produce.

Pogue's Run Grocer is down on 10th they have some harder to find stuff at good prices. They also have a fair amount of local organic produce.

Smoking Goose has all kinds of awesome meat treats from pasture raised sources.

There are a TON of farmers markets (www.aroundindy.com has a full list) and Indy Winter market goes through the winter.

Premiers Sports Chiro (Carmel) Lakeshore Chiro (Fall Creek) Chiro Wellness Indy ( 96th) all encourage paleo.

Tons of CF boxes, and Lakeshore Chiro has a Team Adrenaline affiliate that is somewhere between MovNat and CF.

The Caveman Truck is great! Make sure to follow their Twitter handle for updates on their location: ** you don't have permission to see this link **

** you don't have permission to see this link ** are great places to find local, pasture raised all natural meats and produce. You can even find great recipes on their websites. These aren't specifically Paleo but an easy place to go to and stick with the diet (and find GREAT tasting meat!).

** you don't have permission to see this link ** is a great restaurant (one of my favorites!) to find locally raised meats on the menu. It's not strictly Paleo but there are many options on the menu that fit with the diet, including gluten-free dishes.
