The southwestern area of Colorado--including Durango, Bayfield, Ignacio, Mancos, Corez, and Pagosa Springs--has a vibrant rich deep community of farms, grocery stores, restaurants, and CSA programs dedicated to offering sustainably grown/raised and harvested/processed local food--really too extensive to list here. Many of the area businesses are part of the Durango Farmers Market although each of the communities named also has a seasonal farmers market in the summer. There are also dozens of professionals in the health, fitness and wellness field who are dedicated Paleo--I personally am working with nearly a half dozen of them. Many of the businesses are part of the community called Edible San Juans ** you don't have permission to see this link **
If anyone wants more specific information about resources in southwestern Colorado, please feel free to contact me. I've been Paleo for only six months but it has helped me to transform my health and fitness.
