Hi,

I am Kimmy, am 28 and live in the UK (I am German though) with my 3.5 year old boy and my boyfriend.

I went paleo last November as was really unwell , I have coeliac disease and even once gluten free I never felt healthy.

Now both me and my little boy are 100% paleo and loving it!

Here's our story:

I absolutely love this webpage and make your recipes nearly every day :) – what a great idea to do a forum.

P.s. My boyfriend isn't paleo at all ( I am leaving out books though as not wanting to push him)

Hi Kimmy!

Glad to have you here! Keep working on your boyfriend, he'll come around eventually! Just checked out your story – you have been though a lot! Thanks for being one of the first, brave few to post something!

Cheers,

Bill

Hi Bill Laugh ,

Yes we have been through a lot ever since having Jamie but since being paleo our life has become real good! Sadly we just had a couple more diagnosis' for Jamie , he has to have surgery on his left eye and needs to wear a patch on his other eye as he has a "lazy eye" – not really looking forward to that.

So proud of myself though as doing the 21 dsd for the second time and have lost another 8lbs – and this morning one of my pre-pregnancy jeans fit me again!

Will have to have a good look through this forum and try and post some meal pictures – they won't come close to yours though Embarassed

I don't think my boyfriend will ever change his eating – he doesnt really eat much processed food and eats low carb too but still gluten. But have got him off vegetable oils and sweeteners so far and hope the rest will follow.

Oh wow, well I will keep you guys in my thoughts. Sounds rough for the poor little guy. Good luck with the procedure!

Definitely post pictures whenever you'd like! We have been working through some upload issues with our web guy Jon, but they should be resolved now. I keep an eye on the forums, so if there's an issue I'll probably see it. Also… I've been doing food photography for 2 years now. I'd be hard pressed to do something for two years almost every day and not get relatively decent at it. ;)
