Hello, my name is Jacqueline and I stumbled into this.  I've been doing a lot of research recently with the goal of losing weight.  I wanted to try going gluten free so I went to my local book store and stood in front of the recipe book section for about an hour.  There I found a recipe book that was all I needed.  A 30 day challenge that include all the recipes I needed to follow.  Haley and Bill Staley (congratulations to the honeymooners), I love your book "the 30 day Guide to Paleo Cooking"  I followed it to the letter for 30 days and lost 20 pounds.  So far I haven't lost any more but I have maintained the loss for months now.  I was 255 lbs so now I'm 235 and I need to lose a lot more.  But I feel stuck.  I know I need to introduce exercise but I have a hard time figuring out how to fit it into a busy schedule that hardly has me home.  I'm 5'7" and 48 years old.  My job is a long day sitting behind a desk.  For Christmas I'm asking for one of your other cookbooks.  But I do enjoy your website.  Well that's me in a nut shell.  Later,  JacqSmile

Hi Jacq:

Hey, don't knock yourself-20 lbs is still 20 lbs. Just keep at it. On the exercise front, and this may seem a little corny, but you might try P90X or Insanity. I know that sounds odd, but if you really need to be told what to do, sometimes exercise videos are the best way to do. I have done Insanity and I love it, I do it in the winter when it's too cold to run outside. I'm also thinking of getting it for my mom for Christmas because she's in the same boat-wants to workout but doesn't know where to start. Good luck! Kara
